RECIPE FOR THE PERFECT BATH
YOU WILL NEED
STEP ONE - ENVIRONMENT
Create a peaceful environment by minimising outside distractions. Pop your phone in the other room, unless you like to listen to a podcast or music while you soak, in which just make sure it is out of the splash zone (we’re also fans of cheesy spa music).
STEP TWO - LIGHTING
There’s nothing like a bit of mood lighting to instantly relax you. Dim the lights in the bathroom and living areas and light as many candles as you desire.
STEP THREE - RUNNING WATER
Run the water hot, but not too hot. Bubbles don't love scorching water, and neither does your nervous system – a too hot bath can actually over-stimulate it.
STEP FOUR - WHEN TO ADD PRODUCTS
When the bath is roughly half your desired depth, pour in your choice of salts or bubble bath. If you are combining bubbles with salts, for a super relaxing soak, be sure to use our Just Soak Salts only, and add the salts before the bubbles. For bubbles, 30ml makes a nice foamy tub; 60ml is even more luxurious; 90ml is bubble heaven.
STEP FIVE - HOW TO POUR
Pour like a pro by aiming the bubble bath at the point where the faucet stream meets the bath water and make sure the pressure is high, the more pressure the more badass bubbles.
Failing high pressure, get your hands in the water and flap them about to get those bubbles frothing.
STEP SIX - BATHING TIME
When your bath is the desired depth, de-robe (if you haven't already) and hop on in!
